The start of last week was buzzing with more Kardashian drama -- I say more because when is there no drama surrounding them??
The drama involves Khloe and her boyfriend and basketball player, Tristan Thompson. The two first started dating back in August 2016 and recently revealed in December 2017 that they were expecting their first child together. In the past, when married to Lamar Odom, Khloe struggled with getting pregnant. These difficulties led her (and her new baby daddy) to be very excited for their unexpected blessing. It was announced that Khloe gave birth this past week on April 12, just a couple days after rumors broke out of Tristan Thompson cheating on her last year. To add more fuel to the fire, these rumors came with video footage and pictures obtained by TMZ and Daily Mail.
Many people are shocked and feel major empathy for Khloe, but others have little to no sympathy seeing how his ex-girlfriend just gave birth to his child in December 2017 when him and Khloe were already well into their relationship.
When chatting about this scandal with my coworkers, one of them revealed to me that a lot of people think that this is being used as more publicity for the family and that all of this was planned. Seeing how the footage of him cheating was filmed back in October 2017, it makes one wonder why it wasn't released earlier. Skeptics believe that the Kardashians had some sort of influence on this, making them release it during this time to add lots of drama with the timing and potentially as a distraction during her birth. My mind was blown, but on the other hand, it wouldn't be the first time something shady like this has happened in the entertainment world. Just another reason not to 100% trust the media!
