Supplemental Post 2 - Tucker Rayl

Over the weekend, I went to Little Fatty, a Taiwanese restaurant located somewhere between Venice and Culver City (it's really tasty and pretty inexpensive, I highly recommend). I was there with my boyfriend, Ben, and our friends Lauren, Georges, and James. Since it's a small place, and there were five of us, and it was a Saturday night, we were given a 30 minute wait time before we could be seated. This was fine with us because Lauren left her phone in our Lyft, so we had to be outside to wait for the driver to come back anyway.

About ten minutes in, James went into the restaurant to go to the bathroom. He came back out and said "Emma Watson is here!" James makes things up quite a bit, and he's definitely tried to trick us with fake celebrity sightings, so we weren't quick to believe him. Ben went inside to discreetly check if it really was Emma Watson, and he came back out claiming there's a girl who looks a lot like her, but is definitely not the real Emma Watson.

Next Lauren went in to discreetly check, and she came out saying that it's 100% Emma Watson. Lauren wouldn't lie about something dumb like that, so I decided I needed to go in, just to see Emma Watson in person. I went to the bathroom, and when I came back out, Emma Watson was sitting right there, very close to the guy she was with (Lauren checked to see if she was seeing anyone, and we found out she just got out of a long term relationship, so it seems that Emma was on a first date). I went back outside and said it was for sure Emma.

We all went a little crazy, partially because by that point we had been waiting for 20 minutes, but also because we were about to eat in the same restaurant as Emma Watson (and Little Fatty has a total of 10 tables, so we'd definitely be in her line of sight the whole time.) When our host came out, she said that she was going to seat us next to a couple on a date who were about to leave. We thought for sure that we were going to be sitting right next to Emma and her date. We weren't going to say anything, because it would be embarrassing for all parties involved to interrupt someone on a first date. But when we got in there, the couple we were going to be seated next to had left. Til next time, Emma Watson.
